Stephen Gobin

Founder, ParcelVision

Co-inventor, U.S. Patent 10,340,032 Architect, Labb platform Web since 2001 · Mobile since 2008 Rural Maryland landowner

Stephen Gobin is the founder of ParcelVision and a software engineer who has built for the web since 2001 and mobile since 2008. He lives on 2.5 wooded acres in the rural hills of northern Manchester, Maryland, near the Pennsylvania line — exactly the kind of unmarked, tree-covered property line that's hard to find on the ground, and the reason ParcelVision exists.

He personally built ParcelVision's core: the GPS/GNSS positioning, the county parcel-data (GIS) integration, and the ARKit pipeline that draws a boundary on the ground through an iPhone camera. That hands-on work is why he writes candidly about what phone-based boundary tools can and can't do — they're accurate to roughly 3–15 feet and are a visual reference for boundary awareness, not a replacement for a licensed survey.

Stephen is co-inventor of U.S. Patent 10,340,032 and was the architect of the Labb platform. He earlier built MoDeTa, an all-in-one drag-and-drop website builder for mobile, tablet, and desktop. He is the founder of Suite 110 LLC (est. 2015), an enterprise software development company, and of Azimuth Tox.
