Building setbacks, fence regulations, and zoning requirements for Okeechobee County.
Setback requirements determine how far structures must be from property lines. These minimums apply to most residential construction in unincorporated Okeechobee County.
Multi-family and accessory structures may use reduced setbacks: 20 ft front, 8 ft side, 15 ft rear. Where side/rear adjoins conforming single-family residence, setback increases to 20 ft with 6 ft opaque fence required. Accessory structures may be placed in side/front yard if set back 200 ft from front property line.
